At Brar’s, community means everything. Being part of special moments, traditions, and celebrations is what brings us the greatest joy. This Dussehra, we were honoured to give back in a way that reflects the heart of who we are—by sharing food and kindness.

To mark the occasion, Brar’s donated 20,000 meals of comforting Kadhi Chawal to communities in need. A beloved North Indian classic, Kadhi Chawal represents warmth, simplicity, and home-cooked comfort—everything this festival embodies. Food has always been a symbol of togetherness, and this initiative was our way of spreading love, gratitude, and the true spirit of the season.

For those unfamiliar, Dussehra is a major Hindu festival celebrating the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, and virtue over wrongdoing. It’s a time for reflection, renewal, and gratitude—a moment to come together with family and community.

At Brar’s, we believe celebration goes beyond our tables—it extends into our neighbourhoods and hearts. We’re grateful to be part of such meaningful traditions and to continue creating moments of togetherness through acts of giving.
